Bacopa

Bacopa monnieri is a wetland perennial, native to India and Sri Lanka. Brahmi has traditionally been used in Ayurvedic medicine for its beneficial qualities and for balancing all three doshas. The plant’s scientific name translates to “energy of universal consciousness” and according to folklore, has been thought to support the mind - focus, cognition, memory. Brahmi is considered bitter and energetically cooling and can be steeped in herbal tea, employed in extracts, or infused in oil for topical use.
